2.  Type at least three letters of the med name in the text box, and click Add New (or press ENTER).

Note: Can't find the entry you're looking for? Click here.

3.  Click the medication you want to add (if needed, also adjust the Route). Be sure to check the Payor Formulary before making your selection.

Note:

4.    Select the medication dose.

Note: Depending on the selected medication, other non-fixed dosing options are available.

5.   If applicable, type any special instructions.

6.   Complete the rest of the form, as needed. For more information, click here.

Note: You can also choose to have this medication, with these preset values, added as a favorite for you or your practice.

7.   If applicable, click the Rx option. If using this option, be sure the appropriate Retail Pharmacy/Mail Order pharmacy option is selected. You will not be able to change your selection when electronically sending this prescription

8.   If you want to send a second copy of this prescription to the other pharmacy type (retail or mail order), click Add 2nd Rx. This is typically useful if you want to simultaneously process a 30-day retail supply and a 90-day mail order supply of this medication. For details, click here.

9.   Click Ok or Ok-Add New.

Note: A chemotherapy consent form is required when prescribing chemotherapy medications. For details, click here.

11. Depending on your set up, you may be prompted to select a cosigner or sign for a provider. See Selecting a Cosigner and Signing and Saving for a Provider.
