Depending on your role, you may be prompted to identify the provider you are signing for after clicking Sign and entering your key. Do so as follows:
1. At the drop-down list, click to select the provider.
2. Click OK (ALT+O).
Note:
For notes, selecting a provider in this way moves the note into that user's Document Management queue. If you incorrectly assign a note to your own queue, you can move it to its correct location using Document Management functionality. See Correcting Notes for details.
Also for notes, the Specialty and Professional Training categories are updated based on the logged on user, not the selected provider. Notes initiated by support staff should be finalized by a provider to ensure the categories reflect the provider's settings. Support staff who finalize notes for a provider should update the Specialty and Professional Training categories before signing.
Notes or treatment plans saved in this way with a status of Draft are no longer available for you to view or edit. These notes and plans are available only to the selected provider.
