Viewing Information from the Legacy MGH eMAR (electronic Medication Administration Record)

Data for this view does not include any information posted after the implementation of Epic at the site. See Epic Go-Live Dates for details.

• To open the MGH eMAR historical viewer:

1. If you haven't already, hold the mouse pointer over the OE/eMAR menu in the PHS Viewer, then click MGH eMAR.
2. By default, the MGH eMAR opens to the Med Overview. To select a different view, hold the mouse pointer over the eMAR Views menu, then click to select a view.

• Icons flag the order as having additional details, such as the following:

• instructions or pharmacy dose instructions
• interactions such as drug-drug (DDI) or food-drug (FDI)
• special dosing, such as geriatric (GD) or renal/nephros (ND)
• nursing note
• intervention overrides (allergy, DDI)
• patient taking own med

• To view order details, click the summary display of the order. See Viewing Order Details
• Additional information about any medication order or administration can be displayed by moving your mouse pointer over the medication name or administration time.
• To view eMAR-related details, click the icon below the medication name (the icon displays when applicable to the order):

•  Relevant Labs
•  Administration History
•  Pain Scale History
• Chemotherapy Product Verification History
