Big Board Overview

The Big Board displays the elapsed time since the most recent activity in each clinical datatype listed across the top of the grid for the sites you have selected. The Big Board is the only tab where you can view a list of patients and access clinical data for any patient on the list.

You must select a patient to get started. If you select a patient from a patient list, you can use the CAS Patient and Selected List buttons at the top of the tab to display data for the selected patient only or for all patients on the list.

Note: For MGH and BWH, data is available for all datatypes listed. Not all data is available at other sites. Click here for details.

Patient names are listed on the left side of the grid. If a patient has activity, the elapsed time (22min, 3hr, 4yr, etc.) appears in the appropriate column and row to the right of the patient's name. Values under 31 minutes are highlighted in blue. For Notes and Scanned data, "Tdy" indicates activity on the current date. A blank cell indicates that there is no activity for that datatype at the selected sites.

Click a time value in the Big Board grid to open the Big Board/Clinical Summary view. It lists results for the selected patient, datatype, sites, and time frame, sorted by date. Select an item to view detail. When done, click OK to return to the Big Board

When viewing notes from the Big Board, the Notes Filter/Sort View allows you to filter, sort, and search index data.
