General - Changes include the following:
- Slight modifications to the look-and-feel of the LMR have been implemented to improve consistency.
- Authorization enhancements have been made that allow LMR support analysts to limit user access at the module level. For example, a user could now be restricted to Desktop functions, or be authorized for read/write access to notes, but view-only for medications. Please contact your support analyst for more information.
- The LMR query tool has been enhanced to allow LMR support analysts to query the database for specific values for health maintenance results. For example, a report can now be generated to list all patients for a particular provider with an elevated HBA1c level. Previously, queries could only be run to show the presence or absence of information. Please contact your support analyst to request a query.
- You can now run custom reports from the Schedule list (in batch mode). See Printing Custom Reports from the Schedule List for details.
- You can now directly enter information for a patient's family and social history, using a new Family and Social History module. See Adding and Updating Family and Social History for details. Previously, you needed to use a structured (template) note to update information.
Document Management - You can now associate physicians with notes using a new CC List feature. Once the association has been made, CC's can be printed directly from Document Management. A copy and cover sheet is generated for each physician associated with the note for distribution. See Working with CC Lists for details.
Notes - Changes include the following:
- A Results button has been added to free-form notes to allow specific results data to be imported into the text of a note. See Adding Free-Form Notes for details. Similarly, Results sections have also been added to structured (template) and form-based (pediatric) notes. See Adding Structured Notes and Adding Form-Based Notes for details. (For these note types, you may need to first add the Results section to your note by clicking the Add Section button.)
- You can now create custom paragraphs "on the fly" (free-form notes only). To do so, highlight the portion of the text within the note and click the P button at the top right of the notes screen. See Creating Custom Paragraphs for details.
- You can now indicate notes that you have reviewed. Clicking the Review checkbox permanently changes the color of the subject of the note to gray. See Viewing Notes for details.
- Notes that have been "errored out" no longer appear in the Notes list for a patient. Additionally, the word "ADDENDUM" is now included on printouts (as applicable) to more clearly identify addendums.
Medications - Changes include the following:
- When you discontinue a medication due to an adverse reaction, the LMR now automatically adds that medication as a drug allergy. Previously, you would need to manually add the allergy. This only applies to medications individually discontinued. Drug allergies must still be entered manually when you discontinue multiple medications simultaneously.
- You can now associate multiple pharmacies to a patient. See Adding and Viewing Pharmacy Information for details. Previously, a patient could only be associated with a single pharmacy.
- You can now view the history for a medication by simply clicking its status on the Medications module.
Flowsheets - You can now enter multiple sets of vital signs at the same time, using a new Add Multi button. See Adding Multiple Sets of Flowsheet Values for details.
Results Manager - You can now choose to be notified of inpatient results for patients that you add to a watchlist. This feature only applies to users authorized to use the enhanced Results Manager.
Oncology - A TNM Staging Flowsheet has been developed. This flowsheet will be beta tested in production prior to its general release to users.
