1. If you haven't already, select the patient, and go to the Notes module. The Notes module defaults to display the entire list of the patient’s notes. The default selections, Entire List and All, display all notes — except retracted and restricted notes — for the patient.
Note: The displayed list includes LMR notes only. To view other notes, click Non-LMR Documents.
2. Locate the note you want to view. You can use folders and filter options to locate specific notes. See Filtering the Notes List for additional information.
3. Click the View link associated with the note you want to view. (You can also click the note icon or the note subject.) The LMR displays details of that note.
Note: A message displays if you attempt to view a note from MGH Child Psychology. Access to these notes is monitored by the clinic's Clinical Director.
3. To indicate that you've viewed the note, click the Review check box. The LMR changes the color of the note's subject as viewed in the Notes list and Document Management queue. This change remains each time you log in, regardless of the workstation you use.
4. To return to the list of notes, click Cancel. Or to view other notes associated with this patient, click Previous or Next, as appropriate.
Notes: If an addendum exists for a Final status note, it is listed alongside the note. Additionally, the note display screen for the note includes links to and from the note and its addendum.
