1. If you haven't already, go to the Results Manager module and click a letter or letters in the CDR Results column for the visit.
2. Click the Letter tab. The LMR prompts you to either load your preliminary letter or start a new letter (deleting your current letter). Click OK to display your current letter.
3. To add a system-generated result interpretation, click one of three options:
Note: If you've already added an interpretation to some results, these options may create duplication. Be sure to review your entire letter.
4. Templates are provided for some test results to let you expand on the standard interpretations. A popup window displays that lets you provide additional interpretation options.
5. Add and edit text using the keyboard. To apply special formatting (such as bold or italic text) or to check spelling, click the appropriate formatting button.
6. To add a closing, click Ending & signature.
Note: Saving your letter as Final prevents other users from making changes, and makes the letter available to the patient through the Patient Gateway application, if applicable.
7. Click Save, Save as Final, or Save as Final & Print, as appropriate.
8. If you want to save your work now, click Sign (F10). The LMR indicates the changes that will be saved. Type your key and click Sign.
