Overview of Audit Information

After login, Clinical Systems Audit opens to the Audit view for managers and delegates. It can be accessed from other views in CSA by clicking the Audit option on the menu. The Audit view in includes two sections, designated with blue headings.

The top section displays your audit statistics:

The bottom section displays a list of employees you are responsible for auditing, including your direct reports and those assigned to you by other managers. The list includes only those employees who have access to audited systems. Employee data, including company, department, and management structure, is extracted from the Oracle Unified Directory (OUD). Please see your Human Resources generalist to correct any errors.

For employees with multiple roles and/or managers, the associated manager is determined by the number of hours worked. This eliminates the possibility of a direct report being audited more than once per year. If an employee you're auditing has authorizations associated with a different manager, consult the other manager(s) to be sure that appropriate access is retained or removed for each job role.

By default, this list displays 10 entries, sorted alphabetically by last name. Employees you've been delegated to review are flagged with Delegated flag. Holding the mouse pointer over Delegated flag displays the name of the employee's manager and the date of delegation. For employees you have delegated to another manager, holding the mouse pointer over the Delegated entry in the Audit Status column displays the name of the delegated manager and the date and time of delegation. The content of the list is indicated in the bottom-left of the section, as Showing a to b of total number entries—for example, Showing 1 to 10 of 12 entries. If you have more employees than the number of entries shown, you'll have more than one page of reports. The page on display is highlighted in blue in the bottom-right of the section.
