Using the Panels field on the Labs tab, you can select the set of panels (clinical test groupings) you want to view. The Panels field also includes options that allow you to "filter" an existing set of panels to create a subset of panels. These features can be useful if you typically focus on specific lab values, rather than reviewing all tests.
Options on the Panels drop-down list include:
Full System Panels – Displays all panels from the standard Labs view. (This is the initial default setting. You can change the default in CAS Options. See Setting Results Viewer Preferences.)
Filtered System Panels – Displays a defined subset of panels from the standard Labs view. (Use the Set Filters option to define subsets.)
Full Personal Panels – Displays all panels from the personal panels you have created. (For more information, see Creating Personal Panels.)
Filtered Personal Panels – Displays a defined subset of your personal panels, rather than all of them. (Use the Set Filters option to define subsets.)
Set Filters – Allows you to define the subset of panels to display when you select the Filtered System Panels or Filtered Personal Panels option. See Setting Panel Filters for details.
