You set your user preferences by selecting Options on the Results Viewer home page.
1. Click the Options button on the left side of the CAS to display the CAS Options page.
2. If not already selected, click the Results button near the top of the page. When the Results button is selected, the Results Viewer home page is in view. The User Preferences section is on the right side of the home page. Options include:
Personal Panels Builder link – Use to create personal panels (clinical test groupings) for use with the Labs tab. On-screen Help is available.
Default Tab – Use to select the tab you want to appear "front-most" when you log on to the Results Viewer application.
Default Time – Use to specify the default time frame for retrieving data.
Default Labs View – Use to select the set of panels (clinical test groupings) that displays when you access the Labs tab.
BWH Centricity – Not applicable.
Big Board Notes – Use to specify the default note viewer. Options include the Filter/Sort View (default) or Basic View.
Notes Page – Use to specify the Most Recent (MR) inpatient and non-inpatient default time frame for Filter/Sort View index items. (Note that MR must be selected in the Filter/Sort View to see the default durations).
3. After making your selections, click Save Changes; then click OK.
4. IMPORTANT: Restart the CAS for the changes to take effect.
