Personal panels are test groupings that you "custom build" and then can use to limit the types of tests displayed on the Labs tab. You can create any number of personal panels and, if desired, you can share your personal panels with other users.
The following is the basic procedure for creating a personal panel:
1. Click Options on the left side of the CAS screen.
2. On the CAS Options page, click the Personal Panels Builder link under User Preferences.
Note: Detailed instructions for creating and maintaining personal panels are displayed on-screen while you work.
3. In the Target Panels (middle) pane, right-click Personal Panels for <your user name>; then click Add Level.
4. Type a name for the personal panel; then press Enter. Your user name is automatically appended in brackets [ ].
5. To add level 2 or 3 sub-panels, right-click an existing panel, click Add Level, type a description, and press Enter.
6. To add a test to a panel or sub-panel, find the test in the Source Panels pane; then click and drag it to the desired target panel.
Note:
The pointer displays a plus
sign when over a target panel.
7. To add a source panel as a sub-panel, find the system, personal, or shared panel in the Source Panels pane; then click and drag it to the desired level 1 or level 2 target panel.
8. To rearrange the order of panels or tests in the Target Panels pane, click and drag the panel or test to the desired position.
9. Click Save.
Notes:
Level 1 and 2 panels can contain sub-panels or tests, but not both.
Level 3 panels can contain only tests.
You must unlock a system panel before you can add tests to it. Right-click the system panel; then de-select Locked.
