Build a Default Template

 

  1. Click Add Default Group.
  2. Type the plan number and name of the new group.
  3. Click Save.
  1. Click to check the box to the left of an available cell type to add it, or click to uncheck the box to the left of a current cell type to remove it.
  2. Click Save. A template is added to each current cell type by default.
  1. Click a cell type in the builder tree to select it. Selected items display in red.
  1. Type the name of the template. The version number is set by default.
    The name of a template for reprocessing existing product must include "XXXXX Release to Process" where XXXXX is the number of the protocol or treatment plan.
  2. Click Save.
  1. To prevent users from writing an unnecessary order, click to uncheck the order type.
  2. Click Save.

Users attempting to write an unavailable type of order are notified that the design of the template does not allow that type of order:

  1. Select the protocol, treatment plan, or default group.
  2. Click the Test checkbox beneath the Name field.
  1. If needed, click to select the template.
  2. Type to add or edit text in the field on the right.
  1. Click Save ; the background and button return to normal.
  1. If needed, click to select the template in the builder tree.
  2. Click to check Use Default Template on the right.
  3. Click to check the default group that includes the template to copy.
  4. Click to check the template to copy. Only VERIFIED templates are available for copying.
  5. Click Save.
  1. If needed, click to select the template.
  2. Click to select one or more functional groups to assign to the template.
  3. Click Save.
