Sending a Template to the Pending Activation Queue

When a template is complete, but can't be activated to allow providers to order it in BOE, set the Pending Activation flag. Templates with this flag:

• Are listed in the Pending Activation tree for activation as needed
• Can still be edited or activated from the main builder tree

• If you haven't already, access the builder.
  1. Log on to Biotherapy Tools.
  2. Hold the mouse pointer over the Protocol/Treatment Plan tab.
  3. Mouse over to the specialty you want, Oncology or Non-Oncology, and then click the Builder/Editor option.
• Find and select the template:

  1. Click the Protocols or Treatment Plans heading to display the available protocols or treatment plans.
  2. Click the protocol or treatment plan name to select it and display its product cell types.

  3. Click name of the product cell type to display all associated templates.
  4. Click to select the template. Selected items are displayed in red.
• Search by name of the protocol, treatment plan, or template

  Find the template:

  1. Click the type of template you're looking for in the builder tree: Protocols, Treatment Plans, or Default Groups.
  2. In the pop-up menu (bottom right), click Find by type of template or Template Name (where type of template is Protocol, Treatment Plan, or Default Group).
  3. In the Search Criteria pane, click to select an option: Search type of template or Search by Template Name.
  4. Type the text to search for. Capitalization does not matter. The search looks for the exact sequence anywhere in the name of the protocol, treatment plan, default group, or template (depending on your selection in step 1).
  5. Click Find.

  Go to the template in the builder:

  1. Click to select the line for a template in the list.
  2. In the pop-up menu (bottom right), click Go to this item.

• To set the template as pending activation:

1. Click to check the Pending Approval/Activation box.
2. Comments are included in the builder view of the template, but do not print; comments carry over when a new version of the template is created. Comments cannot be seen by ordering providers.
3. Click Save.
