Copy a Product Cell Type or Template
- There are two builder/archives for each lab site, one for oncology and
the other for non-oncology. Check the top of the view to determine which
you have open.
- You must be authorized to build or edit biotherapy

- As of 7/20/2021, builders can create a copy of any protocol, treatment
plan, incoming cell type, or activated/reactivated template in the main
builder tree, to use the content as the basis for a new item of the same
type. Once pasted, copies of activated/reactivated templates are pasted
as inactive templates, which can be edited and activated as needed. Click

- The copied order templates must be renamed and activated for use in Biotherapy
Order Entry (BOE). See Activating
a Template.
- Find the protocol or treatment plan that contains the activated/reactivated
template(s) you want to copy:
- Copy a product cell type (including all its active templates) or
single template:
- Click to select the item to copy: a product cell type or a single
active template.
- Click [ ... ], and then
click the Copy option.
- When prompted, click Ok
to acknowledge the message that the copy succeeded.
- Paste the copied item(s):
- Find the protocol or treatment plan where you want to paste the
product cell types (if copied) and template(s). See above for instructions.
- Click to select the item to receive the copy:
- A protocol or treatment plan to receive the active templates for
a product cell type; cell types and their activated templates can
only be pasted into a protocol or treatment plan that does not already
include that cell type
- A product cell type to receive a single active template; see Adding a Product Cell Type to
a Protocol or Treatment Plan if needed
- Click [ ... ], and then
click the Paste option.
- When prompted, click Yes
to confirm that the described paste is what you want.
- When prompted, click Ok
to acknowledge the message that the paste succeeded.
