Viewing Radiology and Cardiology Images

Images associated with radiology (Rad) and cardiology (Card) reports may be available for online display from the Big Board, Patient Abstract, and Summary views when the Image link displays. Some images may also be viewed from the Links page. Not all images are available online.

• To display an image from the Big Board, Patient Abstract, or Summary views, click the associated Image link.

• To display a list of images from the Links view, click an option in the MyView Images or EKG Images category. Click an item on the list to display it in the applicable viewer.

• Image availability by site

• BWH and BWFH - Brigham Health (including Brigham and Women's Hospital and BW Faulkner Hospital) images associated with radiology (Rad) as of 10/1/2003, cardiology (Card), and endoscopy (Endosc) reports may be available.
  An Images link indicates there are multiple images. Right-clicking the link automatically opens the first image in the list. Left-clicking the link displays a list of image links; click a link to view the desired image.
• DFCI - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute EKG images are available from the MUSE viewer. Not all images are available online.
  
• MEEI - Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute images associated with radiology (Rad) reports may be available; not all images are available online. After a certain number of months, images may be unavailable.
• MGH - Massachusetts General Hospital images associated with endoscopy (Endosc) reports are available for online display from the Summary view. This applies only to MGH reports dated after 9/28/2003. Images associated with radiology (Rad) reports may be available; not all images are available online. After a certain number of months, images may be unavailable.
• MVH - Martha's Vineyard Hospital images associated with radiology (Rad) reports from 9/29/2011 may be available for online display.
• NSMC (SLM) - North Shore Medical Center (Salem Hospital) images associated with radiology (Rad) reports may be available for online display. Not all reports have a related image and not all images are available online.
• NWH - Newton-Wellesley Hospital images associated with radiology (Rad) and cardiology (Card) reports may be available. Not all reports have a related image and not all images are available online.
• SRH - Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital images associated with radiology (Rad) reports may be available. Ultrasound images are available from 10/5/2011; all other images are available from 3/18/2011.
• SSH - Images associated with reports from South Shore Hospital are unavailable for online display. To view these images, use Epic from SSH.
