MGB MUSE Viewer
The MGB Muse Viewer displays EKG tracings from a number of . Links to the viewer are available from the Epic MUSE activity, Epic Chart Review, and the Results Web application.
Single-site views - An image link from an EKG report displays only the related images from the source site. Likewise, site-specific links from the MUSE activity in Epic show only the images from that site.
Multi-site view - Clicking the All MGB EKG Images link from the MUSE activity in Epic presents an aggregated display of the selected patient’s EKG tracings from across the that are integrated with the PHS MUSE Viewer.
- To display and compare tracings:
- If a list of tracings displays, click an item to display the tracing.
- Compare - To view two (2) tracings side-by-side: click the checkboxes on the right to select the two studies, then click Compare.
- To zoom in on an area, click
(to zoom in) or
(to zoom out).
- If there is more than one page, scroll down to view additional pages.
- For instructions, click
in the viewer title bar
- To return to the list of tracings, click the
in the upper right corner.
- To close the viewer, click
in the upper right of the popup window.
Notes:
- An active link does not indicate that patient data exists. Data (images, tracings, documents, etc.) may not be available for the selected patient.
- The message that no tests were found indicates that no studies match the selected patient's MRN in the MUSE records.
- An error message that the operation timed out indicates that there is a problem communicating with a MUSE data server. If you see this message after clicking the All MGB EKG Images link, please try a site-specific link instead.
