Working with Restricted Notes (Authorized Users Only)

Important: Restricted notes functionality is limited to users at Psychology clinics and practices. However, authorized users have the option to delegate view-access or transfer ownership to any other LMR user.

Viewing Restricted Notes - The default notes screen (Entire List) includes restricted notes you've authored along with all other notes (restricted notes include the prefix "Restricted-"). Click the Restricted Notes link to limit the list to only restricted notes, as well as to include restricted notes you've been delegated to view by other authors.

Adding Restricted Notes - To add a restricted note, start by clicking the Restricted Note link from the Notes list. Then, complete adding the note following the same steps as for other notes (see Adding Notes for details). The indicator "Restricted-" displays in bold red type to the left of the note subject when you are creating a restricted note.

Limitations - Restricted notes are not displayed by Document Management. You are not allowed to send restricted notes via e-mail, link them to a problem, or add a CC list. Additionally, for notes you are delegated to view, you also cannot edit, copy, or add an addendum to them.
