Important: Transferring ownership of your restricted notes cedes rights to your restricted notes to another LMR provider. You cannot undo your changes. To simply allow other providers to view your restricted notes (instead of transferring ownership), see Delegating View Access.
1. If you haven't already, select the Restricted option from the Administration menu. Click the Transfer tab.
2. Select the start date for this transfer of ownership.
3. If you are transferring ownership to a user outside of your practice, change the Transfer List option to LMR Providers or Custom List.
4. Select whether you want the user to receive an e-mail notification. If so, you can also type comments to be sent with the notification.
5. In the middle section of the screen, click the name of the provider or providers you want to transfer ownership to. (If selecting from the list of all providers, you may need to click next to find the provider name.)
6. In the bottom section of the screen, click the check box to the left of the patient or patients for whom you want to transfer ownership. (To select all patients, click the check box in the first column of the header.)
7. Click Transfer. The LMR displays a verification message.
