You can delegate view-only access to your restricted notes to one or more of your colleagues or other LMR providers, as follows:
1. If you haven't already, select the Restricted option from the Administration menu. The LMR displays the Delegate tab.
2. Select the start and end date of the period for which you want to delegate view access.
Note: The super-delegate is an individual that will have delegate access without a time limitation.
3. If you are delegating access to a user outside of your practice, change the Delegate List option to LMR Providers or Custom List.
4. Select whether you want the user to receive an e-mail notification of delegation. If so, you can also type comments to be sent with the notification.
5. In the middle section of the screen, click the name of the provider or providers you want to designate access to. (If selecting from the list of all providers, you may need to click next to find the provider name.)
6. In the bottom section of the screen, click the check box to the left of the patient or patients for whom you want to designate view access. (To select all patients, click the check box in the first column of the header.)
7. Click Delegate. The LMR displays a verification message.
