Schedule - Provider names can be clicked to display that provider's schedule. This is only applicable when viewing the list of the entire practice. Also, it is no longer necessary to click Go after selecting a date from the calendar. A schedule for the selected date displays directly after clicking the date.
Batch Printing - You can now add unscheduled patients when batch printing the Summary Report, Face Sheet, or Last Visit Note from the Schedule. See Printing Reports for Unscheduled Patients for details. Also, the Print Reports Queue menu option has been moved from the Desktop menu to a new Admin menu.
Clinical Messages - You can now add custom paragraphs when editing, forwarding, and replying to clinical messages.
Document Management - You can now add custom paragraphs when editing notes, and custom headers when printing notes. Also, Ok/Next and Final/Next buttons have been added to allow you to move between notes quicker.
Summary - Clicking the N associated with a problem or medication displays linked notes with a single click. Previously, you needed to click a second time to select a note from a list.
Notes - You can now save any note as a template, allowing you to more quickly create similar notes. Custom paragraphs can now be added to free text and structured notes. Also, you can now add problems, medications, and allergies while creating a structured note. You can also reorder sections within a structured note, and add a signature line or patient medical record number with a single mouse click. See Creating Structured Notes for details.
Medications - The number of active and inactive entries is now displayed on the list screen. Also, changes have been made to make it easier for you to identify appropriate routes when adding medications.
Problems and Procedures - The number of active and inactive entries is now displayed on the list screen. Also, it is now possible to create Problem Favorites (similar to Medication Favorites). See Working with Favorites for details.
Allergies - The number of active and inactive entries is now displayed on the list screen.
Immunization/Health Maintenance - Pneumovax and influenza vaccines entered from Health Maintenance will now file to Immunizations. Also, an option has been added to the entry screen for immunizations to allow you to indicate if a patient has declined an immunization.
Reminders - You can now click a reminder to display a screen to document action related to the reminder. Doing so clears the reminder from view. Also, inactive reminders can now be viewed from the Reminders module for non-health maintenance related items. For most reminders, history remains available from the Health Maintenance module.
Reports - All reports now include the date printed. The Mini Face Sheet report now includes the provider name.
Custom Enhancements - All custom options (templates, headers, reports, subjects, and paragraphs) have been changed to allow sharing across practices. Clicking Show All from any list screen now displays not only work saved by others within your practice, but also allows you to select a clinic to display templates, headers, and paragraphs, etc., shared by other practices. Custom work created by other practices can be used as a basis for creating new items.
