A shortcut menu is available when you right-click any underlined patient’s name in the LMR.
Select any of the following options from the shortcut menu:
Displays the Patient Detail popup
window. Click the close button ( ) when
finished.
Displays the QuickLook popup window.

) when finished.
Displays your last note for the patient. Click Close Window when finished.
Displays the last note for the patient written by a user in your practice. Click Close Window when finished.
1. The Clinical Message dialog box displays. To add message recipients, do any of the following:
Search for a recipient by name
a. Type the full or partial name of the person you wish to search for. Type the last name first, enter a comma, and then type the first name, if desired. You can enter only part of the name (even a single initial is allowed) to save time.
b. Click Search. Matching names populate the display field on the left.
Note: GE Centricity users are displayed with additional data such as address.
c. Click
the desired name to select it, and click to include this name in the recipients
field on the right.
Note:
If there are two or more recipients listed with the
same name), select a name and click to display additional demographic
information from the CPM (Corporate Provider Master).
If the recipient is not in the CPM, a message displays
stating that no additional information is available.
Select a recipient from your practice or the patient’s provider list
Click the button next to one of the following options: My Current Location, Entire Practice, or Patient’s Provider List. The list populates the display field on the upper left.
Scroll
to find the desired name, and click the name to
select it. Then click to
include this name in the recipients field on the
right.
Note:
If there are two or more recipients listed with the
same name), select a name and click to display additional demographic information
from the CPM (Corporate Provider Master). If the recipient
is not in the CPM, a message displays stating that
no additional information is available.
Select recipients from a previously created custom distribution list
Select the list from the
display field on the lower left and click to include this list in the recipients
field on the right.
A popup box may display prompting you to select a subset. If so, select one and click Ok.
Select yourself or the patient’s PCP
Click to select the Me or the PCP check box to add yourself or the patient’s PCP to the recipients field on the right.
Note: If the patient does not have a PCP identified in the LMR, the PCP the check box is inactive.
2. Type your message in the designated text box.
3. When you are finished, click Ok.
1. The Select Lists dialog box displays. Click to select the button for My (to display your personal lists) or Practice (to display your practice’s lists).
2. Select the desired list by clicking the check box next to it. Or to add the patient to all lists displayed, click the uppermost check box.
Note: If you’d like to create a new patient list from here, click the Add New List link. A new field displays for the new list and is automatically selected. Type the name of the list in that field.
3. When you are finished, click Ok.
Prints the default Visit Summary report for the patient. You can also use this option to create Visit Summary reports (including reports for future visits as well as a Spanish language version of the report). For details, see Visit Summary Report Help topics.
