Smart Form: Using the Orders, A/P Pane

If you made changes in the SmartView pane that require the Orders, A/P Panel to regenerate or update information, the Regenerate Orders icon turns red ( ). Click it to regenerate the data.

Click the link in the Assessments section. The corresponding section automatically opens and the assessment you clicked is highlighted in yellow.
Click to select care options, orders, follow-ups, or materials to print. If applicable, update the associated time interval.
To start a medication, click the medication link and complete the required information.

Note: A warning icon ( ) shows which medications have alerts. Click it for more information.

To update information in other areas of the LMR (such as updating weight in Vital Signs), click the associated link and make the necessary changes.

Click the Execute icon to execute and print information you selected.

To add assessments to your note, click .
To add plans to your note, click .
To add plans and SmartView actions to your note, click the down arrow next to , and select the appropriate option.

Note: When creating a note from a template, use these options only after starting your note in the Note pane. Otherwise, you will lose any previously added information when starting the new note.
