The Results Manager module is designed to help you manage the process of following up on lab tests that you have requested for your patients.
At a glance, you can see a list of your recent patient visits for which labs have been completed, with critical and otherwise abnormal results clearly indicated. By default, your list of open visits is displayed. However, you can access other view options by clicking filter links at the top of the screen. Initially, the most critical results display first, but you can change the sort order. For details, click here.
Results Manager also makes it easy for you to document results that have been taken care of and to remove them from your queue. As a further safeguard, the system sends you e-mail notifying you of critical results that you do not acknowledge within 24 hours.
