Note: The following applies only if the patient's medication list includes Review Med List requests. Currently, this functionality is limited to a few practices (such as the MGH Cancer Center) where non-prescribing providers communicate medication changes to prescribing providers.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Medications module. Patients with Review Med List requests include a column labeled "Medication Approval Request." These requests are only visible to providers within the associated practice.
2. Do one or more of the following (based on active requests):
Note: Requests are removed as soon as you select an action. You cannot undo or restore them.
3. If you want to save and sign your work now, click OK & Sign. You can electronically send or print prescriptions, if applicable (see Related Topics). Type your key and click Sign.
