The purpose of Notes Compliance is to identify notes that are missing for patient visits or have never been approved by their authors. Requirements for being able to access the Notes Compliance feature are:
Build the Notes Comp Appt Types table.
Have access to the super user group for HIS.
Note: Non-DFCI practices can specify how noncompliance is determined. For example, missing or overdue notes are not reported if the Signature Only option is checked in Notes Compliance Settings. For details, click here.
HIS Departments or Practice Managers will be able to run reports in LMR that identify:
Missing and unapproved visit notes
Provider responsible for the note
Length of time the note has been incomplete or overdue
Expected Notes Compliance workflow, performed weekly:
