When you run the Notes Compliance Status Report, it automatically generates an e-mail queue of providers and visits.
The e-Mail queue shows the number of Missing Notes, number of Preliminary Notes, number of Overdue Notes, and the number of Overdue Signatures statuses per provider in columns.
1. The check boxes in the E-mail column default to checked. Click a provider's name to link to Notes Compliance Detail to select specific visits to e-mail the provider about. If you do not access Notes Compliance Detail for a provider on the e-mail queue, the provider is e-mailed about all visits in their queue.
2. In the case where HIS or the Practice Manager is following up whether the note is appropriately assigned to a particular provider or is otherwise investigating a note with an incomplete or overdue status, the HIS or Practice Manager needs to selectively clear the check boxes for those providers so that they do not get e-mailed.
3. If you want to exit this page without saving your changes, click Cancel to ignore any changes you have made and return to the Notes Compliance Report Queue screen. This will cancel any e-mails that would have been sent to the selected providers.
4. Click E-mail Info to track which providers are being notified by e-mail about missing notes or notes that have not yet been finalized.
5. Click Send to generate the automatic e-mails to the providers.
6. Click Report to display the Notes Compliance Status Report, which is a view-only report. From here, you can Print the report, Export the data, or Cancel.
7. To send a report for one or more providers to another authorized user's queue, click Forward. Then, use drop-down lists to select the Institution, Clinic, Subset, and Provider.
