Medications Module Overview

The Medications module displays a list of all medications that have been recorded for the selected patient. To view only medications added by you or your practice, click My or Practice, as appropriate.

To display the list of non-medications or inactive medications, click the appropriate filter button.

To view the prescription history for all medications for this patient, click the Rx History filter button, if applicable. For details, click here.

The top of the screen includes a banner, with sections for allergies, patient-specific eligibility, and pharmacy information.

Below the banner, the Medications module includes a series of buttons for adding, renewing, discontinuing, and verifying medications. To print a copy of the Patient Med/Allergy report, click .

For each medication, the list includes the formulary indicator, medication name, Rx flag, Sig, Special Instructions, Dispense, Refill, and dates. If applicable, a compound medication indicator ("Compounded med") display next to the name.
