Click Rx History from the Medications module to display a patient’s medication history from the Surescripts© network. The data shown is a combination of data from prescription claims history along with data on prescriptions processed from community pharmacies that participate in the Surescripts network. You must indicate that you have the patient's consent to continue.
The information displayed includes a history of up to 2 years of prescriptions paid by the patient's current medication insurer or up to 1 year of prescriptions that were processed by a Surescripts-participating community pharmacy. It does not include:
prescriptions paid by the patient at a pharmacy not in the Surescripts network
over-the-counter medications (unless the prescription was processed by a Surescripts-participating pharmacy)
prescriptions that the patient asked not to be disclosed due to privacy concerns
prescriptions from any payor not integrated with Surescripts (such as MassHealth or Harvard Pilgrim)
The data includes medications and nonmedications data, sorted by date. To sort by item name, last filled, pharmacy, or prescriber, click the associated column heading.
Data from pharmacy history include the sig (direction) information for medications. Data from insurance history do not include the sig. Duplicates will more than likely be listed as insurance claims, and may overlap with pharmacy fill information.
