This module displays a list of pharmacies previously added as "favorites" by you or by other members of your practice and saved for shared use. You can add, update, or delete entries.
Pharmacy Favorites allow you a shortcut for entry of pharmacies that are common to many of your patients. Use of Favorites is a two-step process:
First, enter the pharmacy as a Favorite from the Custom>Pharmacy Favorites module. Click New Favorite and find the pharmacy by pharmacy name (or name and city separated by a comma), city, phone number, zip code, or mail order pharmacies. (If the pharmacy you want is not listed, you can add it by clicking Add new.) Then, click Save and select whether you want to save your entry to My List (to save the favorite for your personal list) or Practice (to save it for shared use by others in your practice). Update the Pharmacy Info Favorite Name and click Save.
Note: Use the Feedback option from the Resources menu to report pharmacies that are missing from the LMR dictionary.
Then, when you want to specify this pharmacy for a patient, click Favorites after clicking Add New from the Medications module. The LMR displays a list of your personal and practice favorites. Click the pharmacy you want to specify for the patient.
To delete entries from your favorites list, click the check box to the left of the entry (or entries) and click Delete. The LMR displays a verification message. Click OK.
