Adding Items Using the Search Tab

1.   Type at least three characters of the term you want to look for. You can enter multiple terms separated by a comma.

2.   Select the dictionary (Orders, Diagnosis, In Home Procedures, E&M, Place of Service, or Modifiers) from which you would like to search.

3.   Select the category from the Category drop-down box (optional).

4.   Click Lookup. A search yielding one result is automatically added to your encounter. A search yielding multiple results displays them in the right pane.

5.   If necessary, select the items you want by clicking the check box next to the item in the Search Results screen. Then click Ok. The items display in the Shopping Cart.
