Diagnosis codes are displayed with a check box under orders and procedures once they are added to the Shopping Cart and are associated to them using the following guidelines:
Individual orders are automatically linked to all diagnoses when the order is added.
Any order sets that include a diagnosis automatically link that diagnosis to all orders and procedures in that order set.
Diagnoses that are added after orders or procedures are automatically associated with orders and procedures that were added individually, but not to those added as an order set.
To modify the automatic selections, do any of the following:
Hover your mouse pointer over the diagnosis code to display the full diagnosis text.
Click to select a diagnosis check box to link an order or procedure.
Click to deselect a diagnosis check box to unlink an order or procedure.
