The Custom Headers module allows you to create headers (including graphics) to customize notes printed from the Document Management, Notes, and Results Manager modules. This heading does not affect printing from any other module.
Custom headers can either be applied at the time of printing or set as a default header (and applied automatically to notes). There are two different types of default custom headers:
Note: If a practice default header is set for your practice, setting a print default header or applying a header at the time of printing will result in a note with two headers. To avoid header problems, preview your note before printing.
If you do not select a default, the system default header is used.
Your personal custom headers display initially. However, a series of filter buttons at the top of the screen can help you locate and view headers created by others. See Using Custom Filters for details. Custom headers created by others can be used to create new headers.
The Module Preferences button is different than the other filter buttons. It allows you to limit the headers that are available to you when printing a note. It also allows you to select the print default header. See Maintaining the Target Custom List and Setting the Default Custom Header for details.
