Transfer Systems or SFAs for an Account
PAS includes a function for keygivers to copy the account information
and the system and SFA authorizations for a selected account from the
production or QA data platform to the QA and/or development data
platform. The data source is the platform you're working in, production
or QA. Transferring to QA and/or Development grants users access to systems
and SFAs for pre-production testing.
- In order to transfer authorizations down to an alternate platform
(QA or Development), both the selected account and the keygiver's
account must be present on the alternate platform. If either account
is missing or inactive then the transfer to that platform will not
be allowed.
- If a keygiver and/or user account is missing from only one of the
alternate platforms, the keygiver is notified. The alternate platform
cannot be selected, but the other is available.
- If a keygiver and/or user account is missing from both alternate
platforms, the keygiver is notified. The transfer process will not
run.
- To correct a problem with missing account(s), see Transferring
an account from production. If the user account was missing, the
full account transfer copies the system and SFA authorizations. If
the missing account was the keygiver's, after the full account transfer
the keygiver must complete the system and SFA transfers using the
process described here.
