Order Blood Products—Transfusion Reaction Workup

• If you haven't already:

1. Select the patient.

2. Click Write (ALT+W).

3. Click Blood Products (ALT+B).

4. Click Transfusion Reaction Workup (ALT+W).

• Complete the form

5. Click OK (ALT+O). This order form provides instructions on handling suspected reactions.

This order automatically generates lab orders for blood and urinalysis for Transfusion Reaction Workup. If you cancel at this point, you must delete the consequent orders for blood and urine if you don't want them. See Deleting Orders.

• Write additional orders as needed, then sign the session.
