Order Lab Tests—Daily Lab Order Warning

• On selecting QD (daily) as the frequency of collection for an order for clinical laboratory analysis, you are prompted to reconsider:

• Read the order warning.

• To select a different frequency, click Cancel (ALT+C).

• To order the daily collections, click OK/Continue (ALT+O).

• If you do continue with the daily frequency the prompt for total number of collections is automatic:

1. Select an option from the total number list. For multiple collections per day, note the guidelines for calculating the total number of collections per day from the frequency.

2. Click to check one or more reasons for the prolonged collection. For Other, type a description.

3. Click OK (ALT+O).
