POE Queue Authorizations

You will not be prompted if you only have access to Queue Authorizations.

• Double-click Queue Authorizations.

• Click Queue Authorizations, then click OK.

• Press TAB to access the list; press the up/down arrows to highlight Queue Authorizations, then press ENTER or ALT+O.

1. If needed, click the Add/Edit/View Users tab to bring it to the front.

2. Type the Partners User Name of the user you want to add in the Enter Login ID field, then press ENTER or TAB. The name of the selected user displays to the right.

3. Click an item on the Select the Q drop-down list to select the queue for which you want to authorize the selected user.

The list sorts alphabetically by the user's first name. To sort by another parameter (Login ID, User Type, or Access Level, all alphabetical), click the column heading. Toggle between forward (A through Z) and reverse the sort order (Z through A), click the column again.

The total number of users authorized for the selected queue is displayed beneath the list.

4. Click Add User (ALT+A).

5. Click 6in the access level column for the new user, then click to select:

• Full = view and process records

• View Only (cannot process records)

• Administrator = view and process records; authorize users for the queue

The User Type is defined automatically from the user's record in the Partners Authorization System (PAS).

6. Repeat process for additional users.

7. Click Save (ALT+S).

3. To remove a user's authorization for the selected queue, click Remove User to the left of the name.

4. To change the access level for a user, click 6in the access level column for the new user, then click to select:

• Full = view and process records

• View Only (cannot process records)

• Administrator = view and process records; authorize users for the queue

The User Type is defined automatically from the user's record in the Partners Authorization System (PAS).

5. Repeat process for additional users.

6. Click Save (ALT+S).

You must have access to the Queue Authorizations queue to work with the user list.

1. If needed, click the Users View tab to bring it to the front.

2. Select a name in the Users list.

The list sorts alphabetically by the user's first name.

3. To select quickly, click a random line, then start typing the user's first name to move automatically to that user record. The first item that matches you input is selected.

4. Click a name. Scroll to view items that don't fit in the display.

The total number of authorized POE Queue users is displayed beneath the list. The number of queues that a select user can access (including Queue Builder and Queue Authorizations) is displayed beneath the user's list of queues.

5. To remove a user's authorization for the selected queue, click Remove Q to the left of the queue name.

6. To change the access level for a user, click 6in that column for the user, then click to select:

• Full = view and process records

• View Only (cannot process records)

• Administrator = view and process records; authorize users for the queue

8. Click Save (ALT+S).

1. To address an email:

You must have access to the Queue Authorizations queue to email all users or all administrators.

• To every authorized user of the POE Queue system: Click Email all users of all Qs (ALT+U).

• To every user with administrator access level in the POE Queue system: Click Email all Administrators (ALT+A).

• To every authorized user of one or more specific queues: Click to select (or again to deselect) at least one queue from the list, then click Email all users on the selected Qs) (ALT+Q).

• To selected users authorized to access one or more specific queues: Click to select (or again to deselect) at least one queue from the list, then click to select the names of the users you want; finally, click Email the selected User(s) (ALT+E).

2. The email editor opens. The number of intended recipients is displayed at the bottom.

• Type a description of the subject. Press TAB to move to the message field.

• Type the message.

• To check spelling, click

3. Click Send Email (ALT+S), or click Close to cancel without sending.

4. Click OK (ALT+O) to acknowledge the message that the email was sent.
