Working with Nonmedication Favorites

Nonmedication Favorites allow you a shortcut to enter nonmedications that you commonly prescribe for your patients, including any defined information such as size. Use of  Nonmedication Favorites is a two-step process:

• Enter the nonmedication

  Enter the nonmedication for any patient. Complete all fields for the Add Nonmedication form. See Adding Nonmedications for details. Be sure to select the check box to add the entry as a favorite for either your list or your practice (these options display at bottom of the Add form).

  Note: After clicking My List or Practice, the LMR prompts you to accept or update the name to be used for this favorite. This affects how the nonmedication favorite is to appear in your list of favorites. Click OK to continue.

• Select the nonmedication

  When you want to select this nonmedication again for any subsequent patient, click Favorites either at the nonmedication lookup screen or directly from the Nonmedications list screen. The LMR displays a list of favorites that you have saved to your personal list or that you and your colleagues have saved to your practice list. Click the nonmedication or nonmedications you want and click Add to return to the Nonmedications list screen, with new nonmedications awaiting your signature.

To delete any nonmedication from your favorites list, click Favorites from the nonmedication lookup screen. Then click the check box to the left of the nonmedication name and Delete.
