General - Numerous changes, including:
- The LMR now includes a Popup menu, that allows you to start a new LMR session without changing the screen (and patient) of your original session. This can be helpful if you need to check other patient data while you are working on a visit note. See Opening a New LMR Session Window for details.
- After signing any updates, you are automatically returned to your previous LMR screen. Previously, you needed to click the associated Return To button to move from the Sign screen.
- Patients who should be on contact precautions are now flagged with a P symbol to the right of a patient name. See Patient Flags and Symbols for details.
Medications - New alerts display when you enter duplicate medications or medications for which the patient has a specified allergy. You can now automatically delete the associated allergy, if applicable. See Responding to Prescribing Alerts for details. The Medication History screen has also been updated to better indicate the history of changes to medication doses. Also, you can now add multiple medications from your Favorites list at the same time.
Problems - You can now re-sort the order of problems listed on a patient's Problem list. See Re-sorting Problems for details.
Oncology - Numerous changes, including:
- The Oncology Flowsheet has been renamed "infusion Flowsheet" and has been moved to a new Oncology menu. Also, the Angiocath device for the Peripheral Route Administration screen has been renamed "Angiocath/Intima."
- Pending updates can now be signed using the standard LMR Sign option. Previously, updates to the flowsheet had to be signed using a flowsheet-specific Sign button.
- You can now enter multiple vital signs for a patient on the same screen. For example, if you need to enter multiple blood pressure readings, you do not need to click Add New for each entry. See Adding Vital Signs for details.
