Preferences - As of August 2, 2013, the Rx Paper format options have been enhanced. The LMR now includes security text when the "8.5 x 11" setting is selected. Previously, security text was included only when the "8.5 x 11/with security text" setting was selected. This enhancement helps ensure all prescriptions printed from the LMR meet Massachusetts Tamper Proof Prescription Law Guidelines. (August 2013)
Schedule - The following projects are included with the June 2013 release:
Batch printing functionality has been enhanced. You can now print all eligible previsit forms that have not been electronically submitted back to the LMR by the patient for the visit. Do so by clicking Print Reports from the Schedule, and then selecting the "Uncompleted Previsit Form" option from the drop-down list. For detailed information, see Printing Uncompleted Previsit Forms from the Schedule List. (June 2013)

The icon displays next to a patient’s name on the schedule to indicate if a Health Form has been printed or distributed to Patient Gateway for that visit. Click the icon to display a popup window with the Health Form report. (June 2013)
Note: If both a Health Form and Visit Summary report have been printed or distributed to Patient Gateway for the visit, only displays.
Patient Summary - A limited pilot research-based project facilitates medication reconciliation for medications identified in notes, but not found in a patient's medications list. A link displays on the Summary screen (for certain patients) as either "Medications from Notes" or "Medication Discrepancies from Notes (<number>)," depending on whether any such medications were found. Click this link to display a new window that provides more details about the medications found in notes. (June 2013)
End of Visit - Deleted EOV orders that were not previously unlinked from the original encounter are no longer being sent to a lab. The order and order frequency statuses are checked prior to transmission to a designated lab. If either of these statuses are "deleted" the order is not sent. (June 2013)
Popup Menu - The Popup menu now includes a link to the Referral module. (June 2013)
Visit Summary Report - You can now choose to suppress any section when creating a Visit Summary Report. Previously, sections for allergies (Your Allergy List), medications (Your Medications List), problems (Your Conditions), and test results (Recent Test Results) could not be suppressed. (May 2013)
Print Reports Queue - You can now select a printer other than the default printer when using the Print Reports Queue for batch printing. Previously, all batch printing was sent to the default printer and could not be changed. Now, the Print Reports Queue option from the Admin menu includes a Print to Other Printer button. Click this button to send printing to another available printer.(May 2013)
Patient Gateway - The following projects are included with this release:
Surveys may now be sent out to patients following qualifying visits. Reminders may be sent out to the patient up to two times to complete the survey after the initial survey is sent and if no response has been received. This only applies to practices that use External Form functionality. The timing of reminders as well as the specific e-mail notification (with reminder text) can be set using new fields added to the Visit Form configuration parameters screen. (June 2013)
Patient educational material available from the Health Library option in Patient Gateway is enhanced to allow more direct access to the source material. To accommodate this change, menu options are renamed.(May 2013)
As part of a research study within select MGH Adult Care Practices, surveys may now be sent out to patients who receive a Visit Summary Report in Patient Gateway and either viewed or did not view the report. Additionally, a reminder survey is sent one week after the initial survey for patients who do not respond to the first survey.(May 2013)
Visit Summary Report (VSR) - This enhancement contains two changes to make the VSR more patient-friendly. First, this enhancement allows you to create custom English and Spanish section-level introductions in the VSR Customization Screen. Second, an option to "Include Spanish" is added (in Reports > Visit Summary Report) to allow you to apply predefined Spanish labels, table headers, and medication details along with any custom introduction you defined on the VSR Customization screen. For details on creating custom English and Spanish section-level introductions, click here. For details on applying these introductions and predefined Spanish labels, table headers, and medication details on printed reports, click here. (May 2013)
Notes - Referrals created by the Clinical Referral Management System (CRMS) application are now saved as LMR notes. The CRMS application is used at MGH practices to manage the communication and scheduling requirements for internal referrals. Only referrals that have a status of Scheduled from April 24, 2013, and forward are available in the LMR. Referrals are saved with a category of Letter and a Type of Referral. (May 2013)
Immunizations - For limited pilot locations only, clinical decision support for the Immunizations module has been improved. (May 2013)
