Sending a Broadcast Message

1.   If you haven't already, go to the PG Broadcast module. For details, click here.

Note: For LMR support analysts only, to send a message to all Patient Gateway users, click the Enterprise tab.

2.   Do one of the following:

3.   Type a Message Name

4.   Click Select Recipients, and select message recipients. For options, click here.

5.   Use the electronic calendar at the Send On field to select a date to distribute this message.

6.   Under External Notification Email, select an Email Message and Subject. Under PG Mail, type or select About and PG Mail Subject.

7.   Add or update text by clicking into the main window and typing. To apply special formatting (such as bold or italic text) or check spelling, click the appropriate button.

8.  To save this message to send it at a later time, click Save. Otherwise, click Send. Depending on the number of recipients, there may be a slight delay. However, if a message is not sent within 24 hours from its Send On date, contact your support analyst.
