Removing a practice default header may be necessary to prevent duplicate headers for notes created from a practice that uses a practice default header.
Practice default headers can be removed from any note in Preliminary status. Once a note is saved as Final, the header is part of the contents of the note and cannot be removed.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Notes or Document Management module and click the note subject to display the note in Edit mode.
2. Click the Practice Header check box to clear the check. (This check box does not display for Final status notes.)
