1. If you haven't already, click My Patient List from the Desktop menu.
2. Click the name of the list.
3. Select the template that you want to base your new note on, using the Templates drop-down list.
4. Click the check box for each patient you want to create a note for. Or, to create a note for all patients on the list, click the check box in the first column of the header.
5. Click Batch Notes. The LMR displays the note that is to be applied to all selected patients.
6. If necessary, update text for the note. To apply special formatting (such as bold or italic text) or to check spelling, click the appropriate formatting button. Changes you make here apply to notes created for all selected patients.
7. To make patient-specific changes for any note, click the icon for that patient. The LMR displays the note for that patient. Update text as necessary.
8. Click Ok (ALT+O) or Ok-Final, as appropriate.
9. Type your key, and click Sign.
