Add and remove flags to help you identify patient visits that are associated with lab tests you have ordered. You can also add comments as informal notes to yourself or your staff who may assist you in managing the follow-up for results.
Note: The LMR does not automatically add or remove any flags for patient visits.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Results Manager module.
2. Click the User Flags/Comments column associated with the visit. The LMR displays a set of check boxes allowing you to indicate specific lab tests.
3. Click the check boxes to add or clear checks, as appropriate. Add comments, if desired.
4. Click Ok.
Notes:
User flags can also be set by selecting the RM User Flags module from the Patient Chart menu. When added in this way, be sure the Lab Orders date field is accurate. Otherwise, user flags will be improperly displayed in your queue of Open Visits.
Ticklers can be added by clicking the Add Tickler(s) check box. See Adding Ticklers for details.
Patients can be added to your watchlist by clicking the Add To WatchList check box. See Adding Patients to Your Watchlist for details.
