Note: Test ticklers are only available to users specifically authorized to use enhanced Result Manager functionality.
Use test ticklers if you want to receive a Overdue status notification for a patient who does not complete a test by a specified date. Ticklers are automatically removed from your active list once the associated test is completed.
Add test ticklers as follows:
1. If you haven't already, go to the Test Tickler screen by doing one of the following:
Select the patient, and go to the To Do module from the Patient Chart menu.
Click the Add Tickler(s) option on the User Flags/Comments screen in the Result Manager module.
2. Click Add New.
3. Click the and
select Mammogram, Pap smear, or Lab. If you select Lab, find the test
by typing into the text block and clicking Test
Search.
4. Select the tickler due date and add comments, if desired.
5. Click Ok. Or click Ok-Add New to immediately begin entering a second tickler.
