A flag is added to results you've acknowledged so that you can see at a glance which results you've viewed and which you have yet to view.
Note:
The LMR automatically sends reminders to you for critical results that you have not acknowledged. Reminders are sent either to your Outlook account or by Clinical Messages, depending on your customized settings.
Only members of the ordering provider's practice can acknowledge results. The LMR disables the Acknowledge Result button to prevent results from being acknowledged before the ordering provider can review them.
1. If you haven't already, go to the Results Manager module.
2. Click a letter or letters in the CDR Results column associated with the patient visit. The Result Manager displays a detail screen, with a set of folders on the right. The Results tab (uppermost) displays details for one of the results.
3. If multiple tests are associated with the patient visit, multiple text links are displayed on the left (one for each test). Click a link to display test results.
4. Click Acknowledge Result to indicate you have viewed the displayed result, and to review the next result (if applicable). You must display a result before you can acknowledge it.
