1. If you haven't already, go to the Results Manager module, and click Customize. (This option is not available if you are working from a care team.)
2. To specify how you want to receive critical result notifications, click the desired option. For options, click here.
3. To include inpatient as well as outpatient results for patients on your watchlist, click the desired Include Results for Watchlist option.
4. To change the default screen option of your queue, click Open Visits or Scheduled View.
5. To select the default trend duration (when adding trended results to letters), use the associated drop-down arrow.
6. To close all visits dated on or before a specific date for the person's queue you are currently looking at, click Close all Visits.
7. In the letter formatting section, do any of the following:
To change the top margin for Results Manager letters, use the associated drop-down arrow.
To insert the date above the address, select the associated option.
To automatically check all results in the General Chemistry and General Hematology letter templates, select Insert panel result into letter by default. This option inserts all results into the patient letter.
8. Select fields to include in a custom salutation, and enter a different salutation, if desired. For pediatric patients, select the age from the drop-down list for which the pediatric salutation will appear. Change the pediatric salutation, if desired.
9. Select the option to customize the first line and ending, and enter text, as appropriate.
10. To specify a Spanish-language salutation or ending, click I am proficient in written Spanish to display and update the Spanish salutation and ending options.
11. Click Save.
