Report - System and SFA Admin Activity
The System and SFA Admin Activity report is used to display a history
of the actions of people with access to the PAS System and SFA admin option,
over a selected time period.
- To access the report of System and SFA Admin activity:
- Click the Reports menu.
- Hold the mouse pointer over the Admin Reports option, and then
click the System and SFA Admin Activity option.
- By default, the report
includes All Accounts. To limit the results:
- Click to uncheck the All Accounts box.
- Click the link to Select an Account.
- Look up the account.
- By default, the report
includes all systems and SFAs. To limit the results:
- Click to uncheck the All Systems and SFAs box.
- Click to select an event from the drop-down list: By System or
By SFA.
- Click the link to Select and then look
up the system or SFA.
- By default, the date range for the report is the last 7 days. To change
the range, set the From and To dates by typing or selecting from the
calendar, or
click to check the box for Last 90 Days. The date range cannot be longer
than one (1) year.
- Click the Search
button, or click the Actions menu and then click the Search option.
- To hide the search criteria and allow more room for the search results,
click the
to the left of the Search Criteria label. To show the area again, click
the
.
- The search results
are displayed in the bottom pane. The number of events displays at
the bottom left. To sort the list by any field, click the column heading.
To reverse the sort order, click the column heading again. The report
information for each activity includes:
- Account name
- Account network ID (user name)
- Item Type (system or SFA)
- Item name
- Date and time of activity
- Where used
- To export the search
results to a new text (.txt) file:
- Click the Output Results
button, or click the Actions menu and then click the Output Results
option.
- By default, the field delimiter is a Tab character. When prompted,
to change the delimiter, select a different option from the drop-down
list. Click the OK button
to continue.
- When prompted, navigate to the storage area for the new txt file,
and type a File name.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the OK button to
acknowledge the message when the report output is complete to the
selected file area.
- To copy the data to
the device clipboard for pasting into an Excel spreadsheet or other
file that accepts character-delimited data:
- Click the Copy button,
or click the Actions menu and then click the Copy option.
- By default, the field delimiter is a Tab character. When prompted,
to change the delimiter, select a different option from the drop-down
list. Click the OK button
to continue.
- Click the OK button to
acknowledge the message when the report has been copied to the clipboard
- To copy the data to
the device clipboard for pasting into an Excel spreadsheet or other
file that accepts character-delimited data:
- Click the Copy button,
or click the Actions menu and then click the Copy option.
- By default, the field delimiter is a Tab character. When prompted,
to change the delimiter, select a different option from the drop-down
list. Click the OK button
to continue.
- Click the OK button to
acknowledge the message when the report has been copied to the clipboard
- To preview and generate a paper copy of the report:
- Click the Print button,
or click the File menu, and then click the Print option.
- On the Key Viewing Activity Report, click the File menu.
- To display a mock-up, click the Print Preview option.
- To open the printing window, click the Print option.
- Generate a paper copy:
- From the Print Preview, click the
icon, set
the parameters when prompted and click the Print
button. The preview and print windows close automatically.
- From the Print window, click the Print
button. The window closes automatically.
- Click Close.
- Click
in the upper right.
- Click the File menu, and then click the Close option.
