Report - Keygiver Activity
The keygiver activity report is used to display keygiver activity for
a single keygiver or multiple keygivers for systems/SFAs over a selected
time period. Activities include keygiver actions that granted or removed
an authorization.
- To generate a report of activity for a keygiver:
- Click the Reports menu.
- Click the Keygiver Activity option.
- Set up the first item of the Search Criteria:
- By Keygiver: Click the Select link,
and then select the keygiver account.
- By System: Click the Select link,
and then .
- By SFA: Click the Select link,
and then .
- By All Systems: all systems are searched.
- By All SFAs: all SFAs are searched.
- If you are searching by keygiver, set up the next item:
- By System: Click the Select link,
and then .
- By SFA: Click the Select link,
and then .
- By All Systems: all systems are searched.
- By All SFAs: all SFAs are searched.
- When prompted, select which keygivers to list:
- To limit the keygivers to those with specific authorization(s),
click to check one or more authorizations in the list below the system
or SFA selection.
- To limit keygivers to those who have all of the selected authorizations,
and no others, click to check the Exact Match checkbox.
- To show all keygivers, click to check the All Accounts checkbox.
- Click the Ok button. To
change the user selections, click the Select Authorization Character(s)
link.
- By default, all actions are reported. To limit the results, click
to select Added Authorization or Removed Authorizations from the drop-down
list.
- By default, all locations and account types are searched. To limit
the results, click to select one or more items from the location and
account lists.
- By default, programmers are included. To exclude programmers from
the results, click to uncheck the checkbox.
- Set up the date
range (when the activity occurred).
- Click the Search button,
or click the Actions menu and then click the Search option.
- To hide the search criteria and allow more room for the search results,
click the
to the left of the Search Criteria label. To show the area again, click
the
.
- The search results
are displayed in the bottom pane. The number of keygiver activities
found displays at the top. To sort the list by any field, click the
column heading. To reverse the sort order, click the column heading
again. The report information for each activity includes:
- Keygiver's full name
- Keygiver's network ID (user name)
- System or SFA
- Authorization character added by the activity
- Authorization character removed by the activity
- Date of activity
- User's full name
- User's network ID (user name)
- User's Department
- User's Primary Office Location (POL)
- User's account type
- To clear the search
criteria and results, click the Reset
button.
- To export the search
results to a new text (.txt) file:
- Click the Output Results
button, or click the Actions menu and then click the Output Results
option.
- By default, the field delimiter is a Tab character. When prompted,
to change the delimiter, select a different option from the drop-down
list. Click the OK button
to continue.
- When prompted, navigate to the storage area for the new txt file,
and type a File name.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the OK button to
acknowledge the message when the report output is complete to the
selected file area.
- To copy the data to
the device clipboard for pasting into an Excel spreadsheet or other
file that accepts character-delimited data:
- Click the Copy button,
or click the Actions menu and then click the Copy option.
- By default, the field delimiter is a Tab character. When prompted,
to change the delimiter, select a different option from the drop-down
list. Click the OK button
to continue.
- Click the OK button to
acknowledge the message when the report has been copied to the clipboard
- To preview and generate a paper copy of the report:
- Click the Print button,
or click the File menu, and then click the Print option.
- On the Key Viewing Activity Report, click the File menu.
- To display a mock-up, click the Print Preview option.
- To open the printing window, click the Print option.
- Generate a paper copy:
- From the Print Preview, click the
icon, set
the parameters when prompted and click the Print
button. The preview and print windows close automatically.
- From the Print window, click the Print
button. The window closes automatically.
- Click Close.
- Click
in the upper right.
- Click the File menu, and then click the Close option.
