View the Audit Log for an Account
The audit history allows you to review the activities associated with
the selected user's key, PAS account, SFAs, and systems. The information
includes inactive authorizations, where the user no longer has access.
- To open the audit history for a user account:
- Select the account.
- Click the Account menu.
- Click the View Audit Logs option.
- The Audit History displays all the audit records for a user for
the following categories:
- Key history and viewing history
- Account transfers in QA and development
- Current shared file area authorizations
- Current system authorizations
- Inactive shared file area authorizations
- Inactive system authorizations
- To display audit records:
- Click
to display the options for a category
in the tree; click
to hide them. Click the Expand All link to display all the sub-entries,
and Collapse All to hide all the sub-entries.
- Click a sub-entry to display its audit records on the right. Details
include the date and time of the event, the name of the keygiver who
acted, and the resulting audit value for the activity.
- To view and print an audit trail report:
- Click a sub-entry to display its audit records on the right.
- Click the File menu, and then click the Print option.
- On the Audit Trail Report, click the File menu.
- To display a mock-up, click the Print Preview option.
- To open the printing window, click the Print option.
- Generate a paper copy:
- From the Print Preview, click the
icon, set
the parameters when prompted and click the Print
button. The preview and print windows close automatically.
- From the Print window, click the Print
button. The window closes automatically.
- To close the Audit Trail Report:
- Click
in the upper right.
- Click the File menu, and then click the Close option.
- To return to the main PAS window for the account:
- Click the Close button.
- Click the File menu, and then click the Close option.
- Click
in the upper right.
