Add Orders to an Existing Set

 

  1. Click Tools (ALT+L).

  2. Click Build Personal Order Sets (ALT+B).

  1. Click the green order set containing the order to change. (Sets and templates are organized into yellow folders by service or clinical condition. Click a yellow folder to display its contents.)

  2. Click Edit (ALT+E).

  3. The Orders For This Session list opens. Click to select the line for the order you want to change.

  1. Click the button for the type of order you want.

  2. Click Add (ALT+A) or the appropriate order button in the Add New Order section to open the order form.

  3. Complete the order form:

  1. Click OK (ALT+O).

  2. Click Close (ALT+C) to carry the new order to the Orders For This Session list.

  1. Delete orders from the set as needed. See Deleting Orders.

  2. Edit orders from the set as needed. See Editing Orders From a Set.

  1. Click Sign (ALT+S)

  2. When prompted, type your signing key.

  3. Click OK (ALT+O) to return to the Definer.

  1. Click OK (ALT+O).

  2. Click Exit to UCM Options (ALT+X).
